Our School Achievement

  • Our School has successfully completed 25 years and released Souvenir.
  •  The school has started in the year 1982 with 2 students. Now it has increased to 1300.

  • Our Principal has got Dr. Radhakrishnan Award in the 2007.
  • Five batches of X standard had gained 100% result and in the year 2010 -11 our students gained District II.
  • Those who secured First class and distinction in X matric are awarded with Gold Coin.
  • We are the school who celebrate a kindergarten convocation (MiniConvocation) once they complete their UKG.
  • One of our old students Master Purushotaman met former President Dr. A.P.J.AbdulKalam.
  • One of our old students Master Abilash got Young Scientist award and presented his project in IIT Delhi.
  • Our School Physical Teacher Mr. M. Boopathi  is the Secretary in Trichy District Games Association.
  • Saturdays are book free days.
  • Reduction in the drudgery of homework through worksheets.
  • Mobile teaching Aid (Smart class) on wheels – A TV on wheels facility is given for all the classes to learn the academic classes effectively and Interestingly.
  • We prepare our own book materials for co-curricular and extra-curricular activity materials and handwriting materials.
  • In the year 2002-03 our school students has got District III award in the Jawaharlal Nehru National Level Science Exhibition.
  • We have invited Trichy based freedom fighters and Retd Army officials to share their experiences among  students to inculcate the freedom thrust .
  • Top most Government officials have presided over for our Annual day functions.
  • Our trained student are now placed in top most places.
 Achievement in the Year 2009-10

  • Our School has received “Karuna International Award” by Karuna International. 
  • Our School students has received the “Dayawan Award” – K. Dinesh and
  • S. Preethi in the year 2008-09 and K.S. Ashok and M. Naveen Kumar in the year 2009-10 for maintaining the pets properly.
  • Our Students have collected amount Rs.1,17259 and handed over to Helpage India. One of staff and one student were specially awarded for the collection.
  • Our School Sanskrit teacher Mr. J Seshadri has got Sanskrit Scholar Award from Kanchi Sankara Mutt
  • Our school mathematics teacher Ms. K. Prema has got Rs.1500 cash award for reviewing the Mathematics Text Book in Oxford University.
  • Our school Exnora club has created an awareness on the usage of electricity “Save Electricity”. On 9.9.2009 630 students 35 Teachers were honoured. This is continued in the year 10.10.2010 at 10.p.m.
Our Student Achievement in Sports
  • Our school Karate student Selvi S. Kannmma, has got Best Sportman Award in the year 2009-10
  • Selvi S Vishnuvardhini has gained I place in Triple Jump in the Zonal Level Games conducted by Republic Day Games Club.
  • Master M. Dinesh has gained II place in Discus Throw in the Zonal Level Games conducted by Republic Day Games Club.
  • Master R Srinath has gained I place in 100mts Running Race in the Zonal Level Games conducted by Republic Day Games Club.
  • Our School Cricket Team for runner shield.
  • Master S Mukund has gained Best All Rounder and Man of the match (I Match) in the Cricket Tournament (Under 13) conducted by Jawahar Trophy.
  • Master L Kasturi Rangan has gained Man of the match (2nd Match) in the Cricket Tournament (Under 13) conducted by Jawahar Trophy.
  • Master J.D. Sakthikumaran has gained Man of the match (3rd Match) in the Cricket Tournament (Under 13) conducted by Jawahar Trophy.
  • Master N Vijay Krishna has gained Man of the match (4th Match) in the Cricket Tournament (Under 13) conducted by Jawahar Trophy.
Students Achievement in General :-
  • Master V. Siddharth and Master S. Abishek won VI Place in the THE HINDU YOUNG WORLD.
  • Master V. Shrivathsan – I Rank holder in District level in UTSE and in Unified Cyber Olympiad got  2nd level  with 78% and 80th rank holder in national level.
  • Master B Adithya Srinivas – 89th Rank holder in District in HRD Sub Junior Level.
  • Selvi M Visalini- State I  and Master R Ashwin – Zonal II in AAA examination
  • Master N Rengarajan, Winner got III Prize in Spelling Bee conducted by Spartan.
  • Selvi S. Supraja won Gold medal and in Sanskrit Examination conducted by Sanskrit Academy.
  • Selvi S. Vishnuvardhini won Silver medal and Cash award Rs.2500/- from HDFC Bank as scholarship in Sanskrit Examination conducted by Sanskrit Academy.
  • Master B Vigneshwar- Credit in English and Computer science in IAIS Examination and cash award  Rs.2500/- from HDFC.
Achievement in the Year 2010-11
  • Our school has awarded “Outstanding head of the institution award 2010” by Trichirappalli Exnora.
  • Our Senior Teacher Ms. S. Vathsala has received an Best Teacher Award  from  the Education Department, Trichy District.
  • Our Senior Scouts and Guide Teacher Ms. T.S. Gomathy has got certificate of Appreciation from The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Trichi Revenue District.
Our Student Achievement in Sports
o             Our school Karate student Selvi S. Kannmma, is a holder of many medals. Some of them are:
                        §     Karate Tournament National Level – Bronze Medal
                        §     Karate Tournament Zonal Level – Gold, Silver and Bronze Medal.

                        §     Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports -  Zonal Level and District Level –
                              Gold Medalist

                        §     Recently got award from the hands of present Tamilnadu Chief Minister
                             who presided over for a function at Srirangam.

o             Master S. Yashwanth -  I prize in All India RYUSHIN KAN SHITO TYU Karate
            championship for the year 2010.
o             Master C. Ajay -  Takewon Do - Bronze Medal, Athlets 400 mts - District  Championship and Divisional Winner.
o             Master K.S. Ashok -  Takewon Do – District and Divisional level Gold Medalist.
o             Master S Mukunth – Silambam – District & Divisional Level Gold Medalist.
o                    Master C Ajay, Master Periyasamy R Yadav, Selvi S. Poorna got District Level  
           Winners in Athletic World Beater Test.
       
 Our Student Achievement in General
o             Master B Vigneshwar has got Young Scientist Search Award from International Science School Academy and got cash award from T.I.M.E also.
o             Master A Prasath got III prize in the Regional Level Drawing Competition conducted by Camlin India and got cash award of Rs.3000 from THE HINDU YOUNG WORLD DRAWING COMPETITION.
o             Selvi R. Harini and Selvi P. Neeraja got I Prize and overall shield in the Bhagawad Gita chanting Competition conducted by S.V.S. & Kamakoti.
o             Our school 18 Scout and Guides students has got District Chief Commissioner award from The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Trichy.
o             Master G Shailesh Dheep and Master L Leyander has got cash award from Postal Department Quiz Competition.

Chinmaya Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Srirangam

One such Vidyalaya is our school, located at Aruna Nagar 1st Street, Srirangam, one of the most sacred Sthalams dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Chinmaya Movement

This movement, founded by H. H. Swami Chinmayanandaji, needs no formal introduction-known for the stellar role it played in the crusade against moral degradation in our country, The Movement has, in its wake, established a country-wide net work of Mission Kendras to redeem the lost moral values. As an adjunct to the Movement, and in tune with the saying, " Open a school to close a prison ," this Movement has been instrumental in the opening of Temples of Education- VIDYALAYAS -all over the country. There are now 72 such Vidyalayas through the length and breath of this Holy Land of Ours.
